Together, We Can Make a Difference
Our Mission

August 8, 2023, marked a turning point for our Lahaina Community. The fires reshaped lives, taking loved ones, homes, businesses, and more. While the impact was profound, our collective focus is now on rebuilding—a journey of resilience, hope, and renewal.
This foundation was established by our community, for our community, to be a part of the rebuilding process.
We will continue to empower the community through transparent grant-making and strategic partnerships, fostering resilience and driving sustainable rebuilding initiatives.
We are unwavering in our commitment to accountability, ensuring your donations are dedicated to helping Maui’s people rebuild their lives, homes, and businesses.
Look forward to regular updates showcasing the tangible progress made possible by your generosity.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to rebuild Lahaina.

Investing in the Future
We donated $29,200 to the Mālamā ‘Āina Project to plant trees at Lahaina Intermediate School and Lahainaluna High School. These trees will create a firebreak that will help protect the schools against future wildfires.

The Maui wildfires destroyed the historic town of Lahaina, Maui, making it the worst natural disaster in state history. The Lahaina fire now ranks among the top 10 deadliest U.S. wildfires on record since 1871, according to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), a global nonprofit focused on eliminating loss due to fire hazards.

An exclusive collection of merchandise featuring the artwork of Lahaina’s legendary and notorius “Outsider” artist, CAPTAIN KENNY Neizman (1932-2003) who was considered “The Picasso of The Pacific”. A portion of the proceeds will directly benefit the Maui Pono Foundation in our ongoing campaign to raise funds to rebuild Lahaina.
